Description:
The shell is sizeable, dense, and has a wide conical shape. Its spire is relatively flat, with somewhat grooved whorls. The whorls display spiral ridges, and the body whorl has a distinct shoulder and faint vertical growth lines. The aperture is narrow and elongated. The shell has a glossy orange-brown surface with two whitish bands: one below the suture and another in the middle of the body whorl, while the aperture remains white.
