Description:
Shell large, solid and oval shaped. Spire medium and blunt; 4 inflated whorls; suture floating and distinct. Body whorl somewhat large with 2 spiral rows of tubercles, Outer surface covered by numerous distinct spiral and axial ribs. Aperture elongate ovate; plicated inner margin on outer lip. Colour, exterior creamy-orange or greyish-cream. Aperture orange white; outer lip h creamy and inner lip chocolate or dark brown (Dance, 1974).
