Description:
A distinctive shell with low spire, large body whorl and wide aperture. Spire whorls with deep and canaliculated sutures and 2-3 rows of tubercles present on body whorl (most prominently on shoulder). Exterior ornamented with coarse spiral riblets crossed by fine axial growth lines. Outer lip denticulate, ridge within. Umbilicus wide and deep, with scaly rim around it. Color: mottled orange, brown and cream; aperture white.
