Description:
Shell small, solid, ovate, fusiform. Spire high with a pointed apex and 4 angulated whorls; suture obscure. Body whorl large with a distinct angulation at the shoulder. Outer surface covered by blunt longitudinal cords; axial sculpture consists of 11-12 tubercles. Aperture ovate, outer lip thick with 8 lirations arranged in pairs on the interior; inner lip smooth, slightly twisted at the anterior end. Columella with folds. Anterior siphonal canal deep, broader. Colour: body light brown or creamy with deep brown axial bands. Aperture white to creamy.
