Shell small, solid and elongate. Spire large, 4-5 whorls with clear sutures. Apex sharp but not so much pointed. Body whorl small, depressed and inflated; body surface sculptured by numerous axial ribs. Aperture small, narrow; outer lip thick with a few obscure denticles inside the lip; inner lip with 4 distinct and strong denticles; siphonal canal broad and expanded; columella calloused. Anterior spiral grooves obscure. Dark brown to brown body surface; single white band over sutures and on the middle of the body whorl. Aperture and columella light creamy to reddish
