Description:
Shell medium,solid, cylindrical. Spire proportionately high; suture channeled; whorls thin; body whorl large, shoulder widest and gradually narrower to the posterior. Aperture elongate; outer lip thick, inner lip dentated; columella with few folds; siphonal canal deep and broad. Colour: variable, exterior light brown or pale yellow with dark brown or pale brown or red-brown spots; aperture, inner lip and columella white.
