Description:
Shell of medium size, thick, polished, spire very short, sutural groove narrow and deep. Aperture narrow, columella with callus on the anterior two thirds and with oblique, uneven plaits. Colour highly variable, creamy white, brown, black or yellow, ornamented with dark spots, blotches or without any markings, columella white, aperture brown, white or pink.
