Description:
Shell moderately solid, ovate, with 5 whorls, spire short, suture indistinct, surface with deeply incised transverse lines. Shell sculpture of fine spiral grooves. Aperture large; outer lip thickened, with internal denticles; inner lip broadly reflected, pustulate on the lower part. Anterior siphonal canal bent dorsally. Parietal area with numerous small tubercles. Colour: outer surface pale-yellow or whitish, with squarish pale brown spots distributed over the shell.
