Description:
The shell is cylindrical and comes in three forms: one cylindrical and narrow, one cylindrical but more inflated, and one altogether round. The labial margin has a more or less developed callus. The aperture is long, and both lips are covered by blunt teeth. The outer lip is expanded equally from the inner lip. The anterior and posterior canals are deep and minute, and they are expanded from the base. The dorsum is creamy to mushroom with three broad bands of brownish, herringbone markings.
