Description:
The shell is oval and oblong, not tapering at the front, and has a smooth and glossy surface. The aperture is surrounded by a thickened, porcelain-like callus that extends along the entire length of the shell. The outer lip is curled inward on the inner side, and the columellar edge has a row of teeth that are more closely spaced than those of the outer lip. The teeth become gradually larger and more oblique towards the front of the shell. The shell has a number of variations and can vary considerably in size and color depth. The shell is bluish-green with tiny brown specks all over, and a few large, blurry brown blotches on the dorsal side. The callus around the aperture is creamy with scattered dark brown spots, and both ends of the aperture have paired brown/purplish blotches.
