Description:
The shell is large, solid, and strong. It has a thick marginal callus and a polished surface. The aperture is narrow, and the siphonal canal is well developed and expanded. Both lips are covered with moderately strong teeth. The base of the shell is convex .The reticulation on the dorsum is large and clear-cut, with brown lines that are confluent and indistinct. There are large purple-brown spots on the callus and one on the spire (the top of the shell). The base is white or very pale blue-white, and the teeth are red-brown.
