Description:
The body has a somewhat oval, stout, and rigid shape, with a dorsal arch (bivium) and a flattened ventral side (trivium). On the bivium, distinctive large lateral papillae is present. The podia on the trivium are stout and arranged in an irregular manner. The mouth is located on the ventral side and is encircled by a collar of long yellowish papillae, along with 20 sturdy, gray tentacles. The anus is bordered by 5 robust calcareous teeth. Notably, Cuvierian tubules are not present. The coloration can vary; the bivium is typically brown with more or less distinct whitish spots, which tend to be larger on the sides, while the trivium is generally lighter, often appearing whitish.
