Description:
The Tellinimactra edentula is a small to medium-sized, smooth white clam with an egg-shaped shell. The shell is thin but solid, and it is compressed from side to side. The umbones are located towards the posterior end of the shell, forming a winged, posterodorsal fold separated by an obtuse rib. The inner surface of the shell is smooth.
