Description:
The umbones are located more or less at the middle of the shell. The hinge has two distinct cardinal teeth (the teeth that hold the two halves of the shell together). The pallial sinus is deep. The outer margin (the edge of the shell) is sharp. The outside of the shell is smooth and white, and the inside is chalky.
