Description:
Shell medium, ovate, strong, inflated, equivalve, slightly inequilateral. Exterior sculptured with 37 strong triangular radial ribs. Posterior zone longer, slightly pointed. Moderately tumid. Lunule medium, convex on both sides, practically no lunular heart. Exterior uniformly beige, some pink on posterior zone, median zone sometimes brown. Interior white, some pink on posterior zone. Ribs thin on umbo Present (spherical black spots). Adult rib structure Roundly triangular to trapezoidal. symmetrical, except 10 to 13 posterior ones bipartite. Interior ribbing hardly marked. Ribs ornamented, except 6-10 anterior ones. Juvenile: Anterior 6 to 10 ribs: No ornaments, ribs smooth.
