Description:
Thallus used a spongy pad similar to a holdfast to adhere itself to the substratum. The border is in-rolled, the upper surface is calcified, and the fronds emerge as a rosette on the substratum. The rounded blade at the end divides into a small slit. The blade’s lower portion has a tiny, stalk-like structure.
