Description:
The plants are of a moderate brown color and originate from a small, wedge-shaped disc. The fronds branch in a sub-dichotomous pattern, sometimes with the addition of branchlets sprouting near the midrib. The edges of the branches have tooth-like serrations. The tufts of hair are thick and arranged in gently curved patterns, starting from the midrib and extending towards the margins. These hairs originate from small lateral derivatives of the outermost cellular layer. The lateral veins may exhibit a wavy and irregular appearance, and their presence can vary throughout the thallus, covering some parts or extending across the entire thallus or just one side of the midrib.
