Description:
The plants are of a light brown hue and grow in clusters of interwoven filaments, resembling the frayed end of a rope at their tips. These filaments are single-rowed and irregularly branched, featuring numerous short, hooked branches. Their growth occurs through intercalary cell divisions. The sporangia are small and roughly spherical.
