Description:
Feather-like, flattened, erect branches that emerge from a creeping, 1-2 mm-diameter stole that is secured to the substrate by rhizoids. 3-5 cm high branches. Branch tips are tapering at the base and tip, flattened, and angled slightly upward, with the opposite side attached to the midribs. In cross-section, the midrib appears oval and is somewhat flattened. Yellow green to light green.
