Description:
The falcate dorsal fin can have a gently rounded or pointed tip. The flippers are tiny, mostly pointed, and extremely distinct. Little, tip-pointing flukes with a tiny median notch are present.Steel gray dorsally from the beak and slightly above the eyes to and including the flukes, and from the beak to and encircling the eyes, is the primary description. The ventral regions and flanks are gray. Each side of the upper and lower jaws contains between 41 and 45 tiny, conical teeth.
