Description:
The adult plumage varies, but all have vivid red feet, a colorful bill and face, and either black or white tail feathers. Some have entirely brown plumage, while others have white with a black trailing edge to the wings. All immatures have pale pinkish feet and an overall brown color. looks more thin and diminutive than other boobies, with wings that are more uneven.
Habitat & Distribution in Bangladesh:
Red-footed booby was seen in 2020 in Cox’s Bazar. The sighting is highly interesting observations as boobies tend to live far in the southern part of the Indian Ocean.
