Description:
The scales on the side with eyes are slightly ctenoid, while on the side without eyes, they are cycloid. The dorsal fin originates in front of the upper eye and both the dorsal and anal fins conclude at the beginning of the caudal peduncle. Caudal fin is truncated and distinct, featuring a caudal peduncle. The body color ranges from brownish to dark brown, adorned with numerous faint black spots on the side with eyes. The tips of the dorsal, anal and caudal fins are black.
